Something, Something

Ok, time to put more stuff here. Things are the same as always. That's not really true. Things are never as normal as you expect them to be. So we're looking for a new roommate. I'm not too sure why he's leaving but I'm not really complaining. It wasn't as if he was all that bad, he just seemed overly sensitive to just about everything. For example, I had to wake up a bit early (3am, since I had to sync up work with people on the east coast). I get a phone call at around 5am to fix some problems, and apparently I was a little loud for him and woke him up. I can understand being a little upset, but he comes by the next day tells me off. I tried to apologize but he wasn't in the mood to accept it. So this kind of thing and his overall demeanor wasn't really working out. Enough about all that crap and onto other stuff. So I've decided to actually draw something. Here's something that just came out, no real planning. Although the hand across his face was attached to the other arm, but then I realized that his hand was backwards. So I attached it to the other arm and came up with this pose. Overall it took about 2 1/2 hours give or take. Hope you like it.

Fanime Update

So I know its been far too long since I last updated, but its not time to address that right now. Right now its time to post the recent pics from Fanime. I hope you enjoy them. I have a couple more than didn't turn out that well, just ask if you want to see them.

Time for some curry

Ok I really don't know where, that came from. But I did have Curry Chicken for lunch. So anyway this update has got more pictures to go along with it. The first set is of the Pictionary Party that we had last year in December. We probably had more fun trying fill the board with doodles than trying to actually play the game. I hear that there's going to be another one comming soon, too bad I won't have the chance to be there.

And the other set of pictures aren't really mine. Its a blast from the past, cerca 2001 its Open House. I'm not sure how many of you will remember this, but its from back in the day when all those old guys that no one ever heard of made money by selling partially burn chicken-on-a-stick. Sure you might reconize some of those old guys (Ben, Dylan, Nur, Mike, me), but they're not the same. Before they didn't have jobs and yet still spent too much money anime and they were proud to have that 4th generation fansub tapes, but I digress. If you're wondering who took these pictures, they were taken mostly by Gina. She's just about the only other girl in the photos besides Rebecca (and how she managed to get in all of these shots is beyond me). The group photo stuff at the end turned out pretty good. You people doing open house this next year should try and get some shots like that.

Not too much of an update this time but I do have some pictues that I should post. So here they are. Pics of My new Place : Nature pics around my place. My new place is pretty cool. As you can see, I'm right next to the beach, no more than a block away. I hope I'm going to have enouph time to use it. I've been working 10 hour days so I haven't had much time to do much anything else. Well, that's how life is sometimes.

I'm also going to try and see how this new style looks. Let me know what you think, all two of you.

About time for another update

Its been far too long since my last update. I know I should have put some more work into it, but I've been busy. Or at least I can use that as a good excuse. So I finally got a job. Horray for me! Which means I have an excellent excuse to be lazy. So after spending a few days looking for a place, I found one in the Outer Richmond district of San Francisco. If you don't know where that is, its the upper west side of the city. My new place is prettys cool. I'll post some pics of it somtime when I have the chance. So besides working and moving and the holidays and changing my whole life around, I haven't been doing to much. I'll try and keep the site updated a little more.

Oh, and I updated the Art section with a few more digital drawings. I also added the clock below, Not sure if I want to keep that.

Next update

Ok so now that I have some basic organization I think its time I put some stuff up here. I've updated my "What is an escapement" section. Check it out if you want to figure out where the hell I came up with this name. I've also updated the resume section to actually have ...(drum roll) ... a resume. And last but not least, I've added some pics I've scanned for the the art page. Go check them out if you dare.

A Little Introduction

Here's my homepage so far. I think that the gear thing works pretty well as a banner. Not too sure on the "Escapement" font, but I do like it better than most. I'm sill working on all the links so don't be too shocked if they don't work, or just have bare pages attached. I'm going to really try and get the functionality of the site up before most of the looks. I could have left out the banner, but I needed something.

Also, what do you think about the whole red scheme? There are a bit too many blue shaded sites so I thought I should try and make my a little different. If you have any suggestions go ahead and email be at valvechan@yahoo.com.
